Guys. Guys in breeches and tricorns from Historic St. Mary's hovering over a computer in the library. Cool.

I'm down at school for a meeting with the director of Internation Education. God, I missed the river. Campus is a little creepy on account of being virtually deserted, but still home. I'd take an FJ out, but there's positively no wind and I'm pretty sure the boathouse closed at 3:30 anyway.

Okay. So, study abroad -- at this point I think I will be going to Oxford, to the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies. They've got a new modern studies program opening up, so I can take at least two tutorials in my soan major. I really need to figure out a two-year plan to make sure I can get all the credits in, but that seems the likeliest option. I could go to the Gambia in West Africa instead, but...Europe. And the cost is pretty much equivalent to a semester here, which is very good. Going abroad! Graduating on time! Life is good.

Also, I went by the Help Desk to explain about how I forgot my password because all the uniqueness requirements meant I got pissed off and made it something totally stupid and immemorable and then it expired before I could change it, so I can access my e-mail again. Which chiefly consists of notices about the roads closing and the cafeteria hours and the pool still not being open.

I've got some time to kill, since I'll hit the Beltway just in time for rush hour if I leave now. Have half a mind to drop by Monty and see if Richardson is there, but I'm probably too lazy. I need to speak with Professor Roberts, but I don't know him well enough to drop by unannounced. Gahhh, I still have not officially switched majors or changed advisors. I did run into Katharina in Anne Arundel, though.

Could drop by the Dove in Historic, but again, too lazy. I'll probably just go sit under the arbor with Grace O'Malley and read.

Just a semester You know the first thing I'm going to post when I get there is "Okay, who wants to take me to dinner?"

*bounce* *waves her hand in the air* (well, provided I've passed me driving test by then, which I am astonishingly badly organised about ;-)
