I meant to hold off on this until the movie comes out next month, but since my brain had other plans: Does anyone remember what we can see of Balian's wife in that opening scene of "Kingdom of Heaven"? I'm talking any indication of how she committed suicide. It seems to me that hanging would have been the most likely method, but if there's a shot of her neck and no marks on it, I'll have to come up with something else.
Another Wacky Professor Quote for today. We were having a thirty-minute conversational tangent about Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. Speaking of Donald Trump and his ilk:
Professor Hicks: I mean, what do these people do -- they rent an island in the Bahamas and throw disgustingly elegant parties, and have an ice sculpture of David made, with vodka flowing from its penis...
Half of the funny is in his delivery. He reminds me of Al Franken and Lewis Black on Valium.
Yay, I made noodles! ...Well, I made a microwavable noodle meal. At least it's not Cup of Noodles.
And I downloaded MyTunes. Which means thousands upon thousands of free music at my fingertips. And I'm not even illegally downloading them! It's just the same as burning a CD! I guess that's technically illegal too, but they don't haul you into court for it.
