Fuck the critics, "Elizabethtown" was great. I will whore myself to anybody who can yousendit me the soundtrack. That fourteen bucks will pay for most of a plane ticket to Amsterdam in the spring.

And now, for some unfathomable reason, Ness and I are going to play tennis with Larry and his suitemate. This should be embarrassing. Good times.

I don't know how to download from it, but have you ever gone to the official Etown website? You can listen to the original Nancy Wilson music and 2-3 full songs on there. There might be music downloads added by now, as well.

re. going to Amsterdam from here... (well, I don't know how much you've already organised or what have you, but...) when I went there April 2004, I found that once I'd added in the cost of getting to the airport and taxes and that, it was about the same cost as going by train (Eurostar to Brussells, Brussells to Amsterdam. Cost me about £99, not counting the price of getting in to London (which I could've done cheaper by going in the bus rather than the train). Ferry was way out of my price range.

Sometimes it feels like not having a driving licence sucks. Other times it rules.

Oh man, I'm going to miss my car SO much.

What the kids who went last year seemed to imply was that the hardest part was finding a place to stay after term, because they kick you right out of the dorms. I suppose I could always go backpacking :) I think we get discounts at a lot of places with our student cards, though.
