Also, I meant to link to this before I was sidetracked by the birthday tracker. If you've never heard of or seen x-entertainment.com, it's one of my favorite websites (and no, it's not porn). It's a collection of articles/reviews about random things, mostly '80s culture, and it is always amusing. Every Halloween they do a series of themed articles. Examples from this year's Countdown: Halloween editions of Kid Cuisine TV dinners, a visit to Salem MA, the Jones Soda Halloween collection, and Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees spitballs. Seriously, if you want to waste hours in front of a computer screen and you have a slightly unhealthy love of Halloween, this one's for you.

The end of October is a popular time for birthdays. Out of my group of friends, there are four or five of us with birthdays all within a week of each other.
