the Dalaverse

Vanessa is off on a church retreat thing -- it's been the weekend of Halloween or at least Hallowgreens every year, think that's a coincidence? -- so I have the room to myself for the weekend! On the other hand, I'm going to be watching horror movies and freaking myself out, so...I have to stay in the room by myself for the weekend? ::whimpers::

In other news, Jesus Christ but my back hurts. Low low down, and up around my neck, and a bit between the shoulderblades. I am assuming I did this while exercising Tuesday/Wednesday, but it keeps getting worse. Lying down seems to make it worse, and that's all I know to do. I don't have a heating bad and I only have...seven Advil left. Ness has ibuprofren around somewhere, I think. It pains, wahhh.

Still ghostficcing. I blame this on a childhood love/hate relationship with the Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark books. My cousins read them to me all the time, but once I borrowed one and then had a freakout and refused to calm down until my dad drove it back to my aunt's house. It honestly did not occur to me until just now that he probably went out and left it in the car. I was very adamant about it being far, far away from me.

My dad just informed me with some degree of pride that he got a few student votes for Best Rear End. I so did not need to know that.

Maybe lying on my stomach will help. I don't usually sleep like that.
