"1776" is my new favorite movie. Not just of the moment, but, like, top ten of ever. I need Founding Fathers slash and an icon, STAT.
Music:: but mr. adams, dear mr. adams
Mood:: 'impressed' impressed

EXCELLENT.

This morning I was telling myself very firmly that I would NOT ship Jefferson/Adams. It's the stupid thing's own fault, what with the "I burn, Mr. A!" and "I'm only 41!"

It is a movie? I saw it on Broadway way back in 1998. I cannot believe I saw Brent Spiner on stage - not that I had even heard of him at the time.

I saw him twice, once in Chicago for "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" in 1993 and in L.A. in 1999 for a reading of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." I used to seriously love that man ...

That must have been the revival cast -- I have that recording. The movie's from 1972, and it's awesome.
