You lot wouldn't happen to know anything about how confession works in the Anglican church, would you? Wikipedia says they have it, and if I can't find any more info, I'm just going to model it after the Catholic ritual. Because the Catholics have everything cool.

The international corner was West African themed at lunch today. I had chicken stew and this awesome yellow rice with golden raisins and cinnamon (I think). Want a recipe, dammit.

Holy crap, Alberto Fujimori was arrested. I can't believe they really did it.

I was raised Episcopalian and during the service it was more a general confession that was a response by the congregation. There is a rite for Penitence that can be done on an individual basis but its not a requirement for everyone to do this.

Church of England (C of E) has a general confession, but if you want you can speak to the vicar & do a private, specific, confession - though there's no confessional, you'd be sitting in his (or her, since the mid-1990s) office... Though how likely this would be to happen depends on how 'high' or 'low' an Anglican you are / the vicar/priest is (a 'high anglican' means someone very similar to a member of the Catholic faith, only no Pope, a 'low anglican' is the opposite)
