POTC2 ON ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT OMG OMG OMG. Just a preview of tomorrow, when they will SHOW THE TRAILER. In case you hadn't heard yet.

I swear to god, I was just thinking today how I haven't been watching ET since I've been at school (my mother watches it every single day, and even though I used to mock her I usually managed to be in the kitchen at the time. Sometimes I even stopped turning the channel to "Jeopardy!" every chance I got). This was because I totally missed any word about "Casanova" or the Tristan and Isolde movie until I saw the trailers in theaters. Or "The Chronicles of Narnia," for that matter. Ah, celebrity and entertainment news. I should have more respect for you. Even fuckin' Cojo.

By the way, the fic commentary meme -- I'm game. Ask for anything in the fic archives and I'll do it. If it's a long one I might not get to it till Christmas, though.

Oh, that's a lie. You and all both know I'll find the time.

Hey, is it just me or does Elizabeth not have any lines in the new trailer? I find this funny because literally the only thing I remember from the first trailer was "You like pain? Try wearing a corset!"

Jack didn't have any lines in the first trailer either, as I recall. Or not many, considering his importance in the movie.

I remember his "that's interesting" line, and having no concept of his character, thinking it was stupid (did I mention that Johnny Depp had yet to register for me until after PotC? It's embarrassing.)

BTW, I searched DeviantArt over the holiday weekend and came up with quite a few Turrow-themed drawings. Nothing naked, but all lovely and slashy if you want me to send them along ... they're kidn of prolific over there.

I was just unimpressed by the idea of a movie based on a Disney ride, with skeleton pirates. It looked so silly. I really only saw it because I started hearing good things about it -- from the roommate, of all people, the summer before freshman year.

And the rest, as they say, is history...
