People should warn a girl before they say things like 'bung cork' in a scholarly text. Falling out of one's chair onto the cold, hard dorm floor is painful.

Also, I am nine. And stupid.

And procrastinating.

It's probably a bad idea to refer to Spanish olive jars as "16th century Tupperware" anywhere but in my own head, right?

I'm probably going to be ETAing this all night. Archaeology amuses me.

Now, see, this is why I am stupid. I'm actually enjoying writing this paper -- doing the rapid-fire read and type notes, making connections between texts, planning layout while I go -- hell, it's interesting, and it's bloody fun. But I've gone and left this entirely pleasant way to pass the time and maintain my GPA until the last minute, so I have to rush.

Stupid. Perhaps I won't sleep tonight after all.
