the Dalaverse

I was supposed to be done by now, but...yeah, how about no? Instead of spending today writing three thousand words of drivel about the real and the dramturgical perspective and social interaction, I spent today cleaning spyware and viruses off my computer. Why? Because my campus has brilliant tech people who will walk you through such a process, step by step, FOR FREE. It's their job, yet I don't have to pay one red cent. Brilliant! But it did take all. Freaking. Day. So I e-mailed Raney, begged for an extension, and got twenty-four hours' grace as an early Christmas present*.

The Museum Studies final went well, and Dr. Sullivan adored my presentation. I didn't have it on disk, so afterwards I said I'd e-mail it to him, and he started to say 'don't bother' before changing his mind. Then, as I was leaving, he said asked permission to use it in the class next fall ::beams:: It was damn good, if I do say so myself. I profiled the U-1105 (a German submarine sunk in the Potomac near here), the Constellation, the Fowey, and the Mary Rose. I was going to do the Titanic and Vasa, but I ran out of slides. Those four get the idea across, anyway.

Tonight, I am packing, as half my stuff will be journeying home tomorrow morning (weather permitting ::rolls eyes:: Dad: IT'S SUPPOSED TO RAIN! AND SLEET! I DON'T WANT TO DRIVE THE JEEP IN THE RAIN AND SLEET!) even though I am not. Tomorrow, I will get up bright and early, and I will write that fucking piece of crap essay if it bloody kills me. And then I will go home. And then I will work a 42-hour week. ...Yay?


*drabbles. I haven't gotten any truly cracktastic ones yet (with the exception of doolabug, who I hope is SITTING IN THE CORNER right now)
