I saw Heath first in "Roar" also--but I didn't get to watch the whole series (mini-series?). The next I saw of him was "Ned Kelly" which also had lovely Orli in it as well (and don't get me started about certain dreams I had the night I watched it that featured a certain pair of young actors--whew!) I do want to see "BM" but have to think it a little sad that Heath (on Letterman or Leno a few weeks ago) said that he did "Casanova" as a reaction to "BM." Heaven forebid he should be typecast!
I do want to know, though: When does Rupert Everett get his Oscar for being a gay man playing a straight one?:(
I wondered about that "Casanova" thing and the timing of its release. (Sort of how Gyllenhaal's "Jarhead" about rough-n-tough manly men Marines came out shortly before BBM.) But, moviegoers really are that shallow, even the supposedly educated ones, the critics - look at how many pegged Orli as a swords-n-sandals type of actor before "Elizabethtown," even though he'd filmed "Calcium Kid," "Haven," and "Ned Kelly" before any of them.

There was an Advocate article a few weeks back complaining about how both actors are careful to downplay the gayness of the movie in interviews...
