We're watching the '70s 'Nicholas and Alexandra,' an intimate between the title characters.
Corey (accented): Mmm, Russian love. It is bitter like vodka.
John Henry (accented): But strong, too.
Corey (accented): Strong like bear.
Have I mentioned that I love these people?
Also, how about those two title memes floating around? I am far too lazy to go find the actual text, but I know one is basically 'ask me about a particular title' and the other's 'make up a title and I'll tell you about the nonexistent story.' So...have at it!

"The Chronicles of Sparrow: The Liar, The Smith, and The Black Robe"
(no subject)
After quarreling with his captain, Will finds a sympathetic ear in a beautiful young woman named Rose who listens to his drunken ranting and hatches a plot to seduce him and steal his share of the Pearl's proposed raid on a large cache of Spanish treasure. Jack knows Will has snuck her aboard, but lets it go because Will seems happy with the female attention. When she tries to play him, however, he gets suspicious and warns Will off her; Will, thinking Jack is just jealous, ignores him and declares his intention to leave with Rose after the raid. Jack shouts and blusters and says he's throwing Will off his goddamn ship. After they're off, Rose clonks Will on the head, takes off with the gold and leaves him to be found by Spanish soldiers, making up a story that he attacked her. But Jack comes back for him, disguises him in a black silk gown and robe borrowed from a friendly whore, and smuggles him back to the Pearl. They then proceed to have hot sex, as the unspoken desire was the reason for the whole mess in the first place.

Stone's Throw - wee!Jack moving progressively closer to the docks, from tenement slum to house for young unwed mothers to shoddy sailors' inn, until he is near enough, big enough and bold enough to demand that a friendly captain take him on.
