So are the Oscars not on any of the standard five channels tonight? Because I checked the schedule on two different websites and didn't see it ::weeps:: My Jon is hosting! I'm having my mother tape it, but still, this is very upsetting. I miss American television.

In other news, last night I had a very good conversation in our room -- a girly chat, if you will -- with Rena, Liz, Lindsay, and Abbey. I think I get Rena now, as much as I ever will. This is a girl who is getting married in August and has never kissed her fiancee. But in context, it's much less insane-sounding. She's kind of in the same place as Vanessa, but took a much different path to get there. There are so many interesting people here, and so many good people, and I'm glad to have known them.
