fairestcat's birthday -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAT! ::glomps:: When are you going to be in town visiting kinetikatrue so I can hopefully say hey to you guys? ::waves to Teh Other Kat::
Seminar paper due Monday. The Henrician era basically done, with perhaps a note here or there from one more book and details on the Mary Rose, and time to move onto Elizabeth and the Armada. My tutorial actually didn't suck today, because I didn't come off like a blithering idiot, because we talked about American religious/political trends and I can run my mouth off into eternity about that. Berger really did inspire some thought. Also, Dr. Schmidt moved my last tutorial to Tuesday the 21st, and that makes me like her more.
Should've been reading instead of watching three episodes of "Black Adder." But come on, Hugh Laurie.
My favorite piece of history today: on his deathbed, Henry VIII wrote a letter to Francis I gloating over how Francis was also on his deathbed. And Francis held a whopping great memorial serivce for him.
I'm going to bed, and when I wake up, I will study, and then I will go to the Bodleian and study there. I'm figuring the upper level of the Rad Cam in the morning, the lower level post-lunch till closing. Oh, and must remember to finish up Vanessa's Christmas/birthday present at Blackwells and one of the places on the High. Just stick this icon on me permanently for the next forty-eight hours.

Looks like I'll be in town before and during the weekend of the 16th-18th of June. Visiting with Kat and seeing people and then con.txt that weekend. I really hope we can get together!
