the Dalaverse

So. The final paper was due Tuesday (hence my dramatic message at ass o'clock in the morning), the final exam was yesterday, and today is officially my last day, since I'm leaving for Heathrow at 8 tomorrow morning. I'm completely overwhelmed with this. I realize I've been an awful chronicler, but when I get home I'm planning to do a massive series of picspams, to get a better record of it all (this includes the trip to Scotland). For now, I'll just say that the last few days have been busy and insane. Last night I went to see "Lady Windermere's Fan," a very entertaining Oscar Wilde play, and then came back for the drunken debauchery. The common room was pretty near full, and we sat around and drank and listened to music and drank and played Kings and drank. And we watched Lindsay's Oxford videos, again, and the final version of John Henry's slideshow, which clocks in somewhere around twenty-two minutes and made everybody delighted and sad. The night before, I avoided studying till the last minute and went to see Mozart's Requiem in Christ Church Cathedral, which is a nice thing to do at any time but especially during one's last week in Oxford. And the night before that, a bunch of us sat around in the JCR and Eddie started a game I fully recommend: going around in a circle and naming one aspect of each member of the opposite sex we would want in a partner (except that Eddie did as a daughter). We did this for about three hours, and it was...really good. Sounds cheesy, I know, but it was honest and interesting and a good thing to do.

I've got to do laundry and pack, and then, home. Crazy, man. Crazy.
