the Dalaverse

OMFG I hate the neighbors this morning.

Let me 'splain. They have four miniature poodles. And a dachschund. I know, is this 18th century Versailles or what? These dogs do not bark like a proper canine. They yap, yip, whine, and cry like they're being boiled into snausages. They often do this when one of them is left outside, or inside, or maybe they're trying to tell somebody that an earthquake is coming, I DON'T KNOW. The point is, it's irritating to hear this at any hour of the day, us living in a small townhouse with thin walls, but it is fucking maddening to hear it at SEVEN O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING WHEN I'VE JUST GONE TO BED AT THREE AND I FEEL LIKE REFRIED CRAP.

I love animals, I do. But I frequently want to reinact a pertinent scene from 'There's Something About Mary' with these stupid little dogs. I wouldn't, but I want to.

Also, these neighbors used to fly the Confederate flag in their backyard, apparently oblivious to the fact that this is MoCo, MD and that shit will get you looks or worse. Now they have the American flag, with John Wayne's face on it. I am not even making that up.

...Clearly I need to live in a cave by myself somewhere.
