I just got a call from the opening Skins game, where my parents are tailgating...

Mom (shouting into the phone): Oh, I'm just going to have another half-bottle of wine...
Dad: Your mother's had about three glasses of wine, I'm on my second beer because I forgot to bring a Coke.

Boozers, both of 'em ::grins::
Mood:: 'amused' amused
Music:: snow patrol

Does tailgating mean something different in your part of the world? Round here it means driving right up behind the person in front...

Hee! It's that, but it's also going early to a sporting event (usually football, college or pro) or sometimes a concert and hanging out at your car with food, often grilled.

Ah... makes more sense now :-)

As has been said many times before - the UK & the US are two countries separated by a common language ;-)
