Just watched this hour-long recap of the entire run of "Battlestar Galactica" so far, and...::adds both series to queue, twice by accident::
I think I"ll watch old Crocodile Hunter stuff on Animal Planet to calm me down, and then go to bed. With the help of tacks because the poster putty they gave us this year really sucked, I finally managed to put up all my posters (in my room, at least -- there are still a few to go elsewhere in the apartment). I am ridiculously pleased with it. The wall where my desk sits is particularly well-nice; it's got the Nelson shrine (four small posters: one portrait, one painting of the Victory during Trafalgar, a promo poster from a special Nelson & Napoleon exhibit last year at Greenwich that I got for free, a poster proclaiming victory at Trafalgar; plus one from Portsmouth with the MR, the Warrior and the Victory), flanked by "The Princess Bride," DMC, and a National Geographic map of the West Indies ::kisses
linaelyn:: Also Johnny (the only poster to remain up solely under the power of the putty; he's just got that kind of stamina), the Dala Collage, "Labyrinth," and new, really tiny Dylan. On the mini-wall with the window to my left as I type this, there's a poster from the (British) National Gallery with a detail of Madonna of the Rocks (I think), American authors from Mark Twain's house in Hartford, and Flaming June above my bed. Alongside my bed, I have the new, shiny, colored, French "Casablanca" poster, U2, the long skinny beautiful dreamers, mini-prints of a Vermeer and Young Girl Reading, the Gothic Nightmares exhibit poster from the Tate, and Belushi in his college sweatshirt. Mini-wall of closet is Johnny Cash (from his last album; I stole it from a bulletin board this summer) and the 2006 National Book Festival (which I actually blew off in favor of the big anti-war rally but I took the poster anyway). The wall with the door has John Cleese representing the Ministry of Silly Walks and long, skinny Beatles-in-profile. In the common room will go the Ashmolean with the Leonardo horse because it matches Laura's wall hanging, long skinny Napoleon Dynamite dancing above the sink, and the long skinny Dali between the windows. I'm going to put the Beatles catalogue at the end of the hall and long skinny Jack Sparrow in the bathroom. And I believe I shall put "The Boondock Saints" on my door, if it will stick.
I suppose some peole might think it's tacky to cover every square vertical inch of one's living space, but...it's college. It's a dorm room, posh upperclassmen housing or not. When am I ever going to be able to do so again? (I do have this plan of having a theoretical laundry room in my theoretical house covered in posters, though).
Aww, the fierce snake. We miss you, Steve.
My knee didn't ooze under its bandage for the first time, today. I'm hoping this is a good sign. It's still painful and swollen, though.

My best friend got me watching this series last fall, and I watched the miniseries through the first half of season 2, just in time to watch season 2 wrap up.
And leave me for a six month hiatus.
Six months.
New season starts in October and I am awaiting its return with bated breath, this show is that good.
