the Dalaverse

I cooked meat for the first time ever tonight. Chicken alfredo! Okay, so it was a meal-in-a-box, but the chicken did not come in the box, I had to cook it. Paranoid about chicken death germs the whole time, of course.

This weekend was astonishingly unproductive, even by my standards. I made the mistake of renting the Steve Carrell "The Office" and now I'm obsessively into it. The first episode, a direct copy of the original British version, was sad and lame, but it picked up after that, and the second season is fantastic. I miss Mackenzie Crook the most, but I find Pam more interesting than Dawn, and Jim more charming than Tim. And of course, Steve. Ricky Gervais is brilliant; Steve Carrell is brilliant. It's just unfair to compare them.

Hee. "I'm going to a club." "Oh. Will there be boys there?" "No, Mom. It's a nun club." Perhaps I should mention that CW is starting reruns of all the classic WB shows? BtVS gets double airings, because it's the best. And the Grey's season premiere is this week. I might as well start weeping now.

Awww, the Bronze. The Bronze for the first time ever. Awwwwwwww, adolescent Dala first-season Willow.

Okay, I'd better stop now or I'll go on for the full two hours. And then I'll start in on the "Dawson's Creek" pilot, and none of us wants to go there.
