fic tease

I just amused myself with this bit of dialogue and wanted to share. Because I'm vain, and mean. And also haven't got as much done on the earthquake fic as I'd hoped. But I have banter!


“What good’s a respectable mate if he can’t be counted upon to break you out of prison every now and again?”

“Technically, Mr. Turner has already set you free from my evil clutches. Twice.”

“Hence the ‘again’ part.”

October 23. "Lamentations" And I did say in my comments that I could have been way off (but for some reason my mind couldn't help going there). It seemed the door was left open for Jack and James to be half brothers (so the "evil clutches" comment here made me go all cross-eyed :-P).
