...Why did Liz's alarm clock just go off at 12:07 in the a.m.? Not even when my old Liz -- my Oxford Liz -- would get up super-early to write papers, did she get up at such an odd hour. 4 a.m., maybe. Not midnight. Who gets up at midnight, unless they're working a graveyard shift somewhere or they're a vampire?
