Driving to work this afternoon, I was pleased as punch to catch "Love Stinks" by J. Geils on the radio. I'm not begrudging y'all your happy love-filled Valentine's Day, but until I have a positive VD (hee, that'll never get old) experience, I do reserve my right to wallow in bitterness and self-pity. And this holiday makes me want to be a DJ, because I would play nothing but songs like "Love Stinks" and "Tainted Love" and "You Ought Know" allllll daaaaay long.

I'm actually in a pretty decent mood, believe it or not. Not least because my beautiful, wonderful parents sent me a box of Harry & David cookies. They're heart-shaped, and the white ones are shortbread filled with raspberry. I'm not sure what the chocolate ones are filled with; hopefully more raspberry ::passes out cookies::

And I will never tire of this icon. I'm watching "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" right now.

Chocolate ingested so far: chocolate milkshake from Sheetz, some Chocolate Turtle Chex Mix, a chocolate cupcake, a homemade turtle, chocolate-covered shortbread raspberry cookie

ETA: Oh my god, I haven't seen this episode in so long that I forgot how damned funny it is. Xander walking in slo-mo to that funky song -- and the boys are totally checking him out too. One of these days I'm going to watch the first few seasons specifically to track the gay hints for both Xander and Willow. That is definitely one of them.
