Awwww. John Hodgman just did a TDS joke about "The Greeks had almost as many words for love as they did for paederastry (spelling?)," and the audience didn't make a single sound.

Of course, I only know it from M&C. God bless Patrick O'Brien.

I will stop spamming now, for reals.

ETA: Just this -- wow. That's one of the best interviews I've ever seen on TDS. Ishmael Beah, who wrote this book, was on to talk about it, and Jon made one joke at the beginning and one at the end; other than that, he just let the man talk, and it was absolutely fascinating. I really, really want to read the book now, not just because of Jon's s endorsement -- he said it was the most moving story he'd ever heard, and it made his heart hurt -- but if Beah writes half as well as he speaks in interviews, it'll be fantastic ::adds to wishlist::
