the Dalaverse

Crap. I was all pleased with lunch -- salad, a turkey sandwich, a banana, and a wee bit of fried potatoes. Then I got it into my head that I wanted a milkshake, so I stopped at McDonald's on my way to work. The drive-through being too crowded as usual, I walked in and caught sight of the Happy Meal display. Dude, they have wee Madame Alexander "Wizard of Oz" dolls! I was just squeeing over the real set in FAO Schwartz last week, and I had no willpower. I got a chicken nuggets Happy Meal (mostly didn't eat the fries, they were oversalted) with my milkshake, and tiny Glinda. Her torso is pink plastic, which is cheap, but she has a little pink satin skirt, and real hair, and a purple wand and tiara. She is so much more awesome than the My Little Pony I got last time, which didn't even have hair. Not quite as awesome as the pirate skull Magic 8 Ball, though. I think that'll hold the title for a long, long time.

In other news, I've moved on to catalogue editing and data entry, so I now have Internet access at work. Huzzah! Except...::stares at 400 pages of site catalogue:: Not so much, really.

For once, the weather realized it was spring right on schedule. It's been absolutely gorgeous this week, except for Wednesday. Katherine brought the clouds with her.
