Heeeeee. They're doing '60s concerts or commercials or something on PBS. Mom has it on in the kitchen, Dad has it on in the basement, and I can hear them both. You can hear us hollering out "Doooowntown!" in three seperate rooms.
I'm off to Texas tomorrow to be courted by TAMU, so I'll be pretty much out of touch (there's something wrong with Sir Christopher where it is unable to connect to any wireless network except ours at home. I fixed this once, but I cannot for the life of me manage to remember how). I'm staying with Bridget, a girl I know who went to St. Mary's, also in the Nautical Archaeology Program -- she's even quieter than Vanessa, but very sweet (
doolabug, she was at SHA but I don't know if you met her). My flight leaves at 8:15 in the morning, which will require getting up at like 5 ::full-body shudder:: That is just wrong, people. Also, it will be way too warm in Texas. I always get antsy about shedding layers too early.
ETA: God, the Zombies still sound fantastic. I love "She's Not There" so, so much. I was totally born in the wrong generation.

Oh,I *adore* 'She's Not There' - always have (having been born in the right generation *snicker*). Never thought a cover could compete with the Zombies - until last month, when I got this by Steve Carlson. Go on, listen to the sample (track 3). *g*

Have fun in Texas :-)
