Did I mention that there was fire-blowing and fire-twirling last night? One of the guys stuck burning rags on the end of a sickle and blew moonshine at it, and then Lauren has this guy from Ecuador named Mauricio sleeping on her couch, and he did the twirling. Miraculously, we didn't burn down WC.
My mother was very snappish when I called to ask if she had any gift bags. Sigh. The party is going to be a blast.
Oh, I hope they show "The Little Colonel" -- it's kind of horrible in many ways, but it was my favorite as a child. Oh yay, it's on at 4! And "Heidi" is on at 8. God, I used to watch those two movies over and over. In the first one, I thought the actor playing Abraham Lincoln was actually Abraham Lincoln -- I only understood that the movie was really old and Lincoln was really old...
