I cannot believe what's happening at Virginia Tech right now. And I can't remember if my friend Elizabeth goes there or to UVA. I hope it's UVA.

ETA: UVA. Thank god. This is horrifying.

But I forgot Michelle is at vet school in Blacksburg, and it is at VA Tech. She doesn't live on campus and there's no reason for her to have been in the engineering building where the second shooting was. I'm sure she's okay.

Is she on Facebook or anything? Some of the reports are saying that the phones (cell and ground lines) and the university servers are overloaded and making it hard for people to get through.
