Quick question with AWE spoilers, natchabout the Dutchman's captain: does he ferry all dead, or just the ones who died at sea? Because I was thinking that Weatherby is hardly a sailor, but if he did die while on one of Beckett's ships, it might still count under that rule.

Also, I am so glad Mercer was killed. Violently.

Only the ones who died at sea, which is presumably why he can't set foot on land; he has no reason to be there.

Yeah, I assumed that's what they were doing when they took Weatherby in the boat - to the Dutchman? I realize they stopped there because they wanted his appearance in the boat to be a surprise, but I really want to know more about how he died.

I don't think they say he was drowned; they just show him in the boat with Mercer on the way to the Dutchman. I'm just assuming it was Mercer who did him in, which makes me delight in his freaky, awful death.
