Second-favorite thing of today: VH1's countdown of the 40 Most Softsational Soft Rock Songs. Otherwise known as the 40 Songs Most Likely To Make Dala Drive Into a Ditch On Purpose. Seriously,I know of all these songs, but I don't think I'vev ever listened to any of them all the way through. GOD I hate soft rock, about as much as I hate anything in this world, but I am loving watching a countdown of it.
First favorite thing of the day, of course, is a filly winning the Belmont for the first time in over a century. No Triple Crown winner this year again, but still, how awesome is that? Go Rags to Riches!
Went to see "Knocked Up" last night. Very funny and real. I didn't want to slap Katherine Heigl once, which is more than I can say for the entire season run of Grey's. Plus, Alan Tudyk had a tiny role, and Darryl from "The Office," and Ryan Seacrest doing an awesome bitchy rant about celebrity. I'm not sure I liked it as much as "The 40 Year Old Virgin," but -- Steve Carell, you know? (He does have a wee cameo in this, because he is awesome).
Man, I did nothing today. And I will continue to do nothing while watching the Ruffian movie (it's a filly-tastic day, no?). Well, maybe I'll crochet, but that's it. Except for the weeping. Three minutes in and I'm already in tears.
