the Dalaverse

::dances:: Got my offer of accommodation today! I won't have to sleep in the streets for a year! Self-catered, basic room with a washbasin. It's pretty much what I expected to spend, so I can't complain about that (my weekly shopping list remains unaffected, and there had better be a Sainsburys in Southampton.)

This is an enormous relief. I was going to call the accommodation office on Monday to gently nudge them about my application, but I just wanted to hear "yes, we have it and you'll have an answer before you leave," not the actual offer. I mean, they only started doing offers two or three weeks ago, and my application was five days past the guaranteed-accommodation deadline. That's pretty impressive.

Plus, my new battery charger came and has not yet blown up my laptop! And I bought my beautiful London Fog coat last night! And tomorrow am possibily going to the Renaissance Faire if I can gather my friends together!

HAPPY. Now I go to gym and run on happiness.
