I don't remember, there used to be a hospital and some navy training there...we were doing a lot of standing around in the cold while Don was telling us the history, and I was busy shivering.
We had the misfortune to have the annoying girls sit down at our table on Saturday, and that is pretty much what I figure about them. The one with the annoying laugh (my GOD it is like nails on a chalkboard) said something mocking like "Remember when we were sitting around in Italy and thought it would be a good idea to do marine archaeology?" Which bugs me on so levels that I can't even count them.
Also, one of them? Was wearing Coach wellies. And her orange hat perfectly matched her orange backpack. To go tramping about the forest learning craft traditions!
