Because I happen to be listening to Clapton's Unplugged at the moment, indulge me.

I'm going diving tomorrow! Awesome, and also scary because I have never used a drysuit before. And because I haven't dived much, period. But fortunately there are a few of us who have never tipped our toes in British waters, and one other girl like me who's just barely done her certification. Still, I'm a little worried about my layering. I will have four layers on top, but they're all thin, Primark-bought layers, since the really good insulating stuff in all the outdoor stores was way too expensive ::frets::
I haven't been busy these past few days, just boring. I really need to get a job to occupy more of my time, in addition to the whole cash flow problem. It looks like the bookstore job won't work out (BOOOO), but I applied for the other West Quay vacancies of the moment, namely Levis (which would be cool) and Costa Coffee (which has the potential to be uncool, but still - job). I seriously considered the fish-and-chips restaurant - that's how desperate I am - but decided I could not handle working that close to seafood. Oh, and I couldn't bring myself to apply at Primark. For serious, there are hordes of people in there at every hour of the day, and always clothing ALL over the floor. I get claustrophobic after just ten minutes, I couldn't imagine being trapped in there for an entire day.
Sigh. If these opportunities don't pan out, I'll just have to keep checking back, and maybe start walking down

Good luck with the dive and the job hunt!

And thank you :) The dive went great! We are still waiting for the verdict on the job hunt.

I had to find a three-headed coin, so I could make a toss between "Mad Dogs", Frampton Comes Alive" and "Concert For Kampuchea."
X has a live-at-the-Whiskey album that is great-- but not a happy experience, your gut twists when you listen to it.
Oh, I do have one more recent one-- The White Stripes at Glastonbury. It's not an album, you can download the thing from their website.
But I tend to agree with amanuensis1-- I like to see music live, but in the car or at home, the studio albums are easier to listen to.
