I spent a good chunk of time today restoring my computer to its former glory. I added my music back and loaded it onto the iPod with no ill effects, knock on wood. There were a bunch of songs I'd forgotten to add to iTunes over the past few months, including no less than 26 versions of 'Hallelujah' (although I'm missing Rufus, Jeff Buckley, KD Lang, and the original among others). So I actually have just over 1000 songs. Not too shabby. I'll be making nefarious plans to get at the rest of it in the near future.

Oh, and while my iPod does not get a new name, I have granted it a new title. The iPod Formerly Known As The Black Pearl shall now be known as...

Darth Black Pearl.

Because it's my evil Sith overlord, see, but I'm always hopeful for its redemption. Plus, DBP is a catchy nickname.

The eyes are still scary red and veiny, although they were not sealed shut when I woke up this morning. That's a good sign, no?

I need to learn how to pay attention or something.

I first read "The eyes are still scary red and veiny, although they were not sealed shut when I woke up this morning" as something metaphorickal about your poor sick iPod, and was trying to remember if Darth Vader had red veiny eyes...

Er... Glad your ipod is better and your(?) eyes are not sealed shut.

Yes, the eyes are better. I had a massive case of pink eye when I was 10 and came home from Girl Scout Camp (that was the WORST year at camp). Both of my eyes were itchy and gooey and RED. Them no longer crusting over is a great sign of healing.

As for the iPod and computer. I'm proud.

(I have to use the icon because it's fun)

wow, I think you actually have more version of Hallelujah than I do. We should compare notes. *G* I do have all of the ones you mentioned though, so I can get you those if you'd like.

Actually, let me know what else you're particularly missing too, chances are I have at least some of it within the 45GB of music in my iTunes and I can just throw some of it into a zip file and upload it somewhere, no problem.

Glad you've got your computer functioning again! And that your eyes are on the mend.

I'm uploading the Rufus and the k d lang versions of Hallelujah for you - links as soon as MediaFire obliges. :)
