Ugh, what a day. Early to bed, early to get out of my own head for a few precious hours. I'm really looking forward to work tomorrow, actually. When I get paid I will be even more excited. I desperately want the new Temeraire book, plus Splinter of the Mind's Eye is next on my To Be SWed list. And I should really try and find a pair of work-appropriate pants. Wearing skirts and/or dresses every day may give off a slightly Mennonish vibe. It just takes so damn long to find anything that fits. AND I need more yarn.

Ooh, Splinter of the Mind's Eye, that brings back memories. :) That was one of the first, if not THE first non-trilogy Star Wars book (original trilogy, of course :) ) I bought. I've still got it here somewhere, well-worn and well-loved. I've got a bunch of the Star Wars books, but after moving here to Durham, my book buying had to slack off, needed to pay bills and whatnot. I'm so far behind in SW books now, I don't know if I'll ever catch up, but I do intend to add to my collection at some point.

You should totally get into it! We can have a readathon together. I'm now worrying about where the hell all these books are going to live. My To Be SWed is somewhere around 80-90 books, and I only own about 15 of those at the moment. The things I do for fannishness...

Much better! I have a mailing extension - it has to be postmarked by the 30th rather than present and accounted for by the 30th, AND I can bind it in soft-cover. So that really gives me a whole extra weekend. I am so relieved, I can't even say.

Okay, Friday evening - got plans? Want to make some?
