Can I just say that I am fucking jazzed about going to the polls tomorrow? I mean, I know most everyone is excited about voting, but I am seriously looking forward to waiting in line. This is only the second presidential election in which I've been eligible to vote, and in 2004 I sent in my ballot absentee from St. Mary's. I still have to work tomorrow, so the parents and I are getting up at the crack of whatever to be at my old elementary school at 7 AM. I think we should take the camping chairs and tailgate the hell out of this thing.
Meanwhile, I am in a deep existential crisis about whether to root for or against the Skins tonight. I'm meeting Tina and anyone else she can scrounge up at the Greene Turtle for the game, so I have to figure it out by then. I'm thinking of wearing my Sean Taylor jersey and my Obama hat, and cheering for every point scored, and then maybe my loyalties will just cancel each other out on a cosmic level.
ETA: OMG am I the only one who didn't know Cheney is planning to retire from politics after the election? Don't let the door to the man-sized safe hit you on the way out, DICK.
