the_dala at 02:23pm on 20/12/2008Goddammit, "Supernatural." I'm going along, catching up with and thoroughly enjoying myself, and then in the latest episode you have to bring in the torture porn. Good, old-fashioned torture porn with a weeping, bleeding, gagged, naked girl (the naked is key, understand, even though it makes absolutely no canonical sense) and a creepy paternalistic Hannibal Lecter stand-in holding the knife.
Seriously? Fuck you, show. The season's going great and then I have to deal with this bullshit. I expect to see girls in the shower from time to time, but that was just sickening. And I was really fucking enjoying this two-ep arc, and Anna, and Anna/Dean, and the angel-demon war which did NOT need two minutes of "Hostel" sandwiched into the climax. Jensen Ackles rocked the end of the ep and I couldn't even enjoy it.
GOD. Okay, I'm done ranting, but there's still no excuse for it. Anyway, I am otherwise enjoying a glorious honeymoon with Artoo, which can run several downloads AND Firefox AND a DivX movie all at once. Pretty much planning on doing nothing but watch stuff and knit for the rest of the day, at least until I have to go to this holiday party thing with Katherine.
