OMG I HAVE CHRISTMAS PRESENTS AT WORK. A bag of candy (with MINI TOBLERONE BITES) and a little polar bear ornament from Jane; a giant gingerbread lady mug with chocolate-nut-caramel popcorn from Mary.
This office is awesome. Also there is pastry and fudge in the kitchen. CHRISTMAS MAKES EVERYTHING MORE AWESOME.
I'll have to bring something in - tomorrow, maybe, because I think there's only two of us here on Christmas Eve day. I could...bake something? From a mix? ::is cooking-impaired and short on funds::
As per holiday tradition I actually went to church with my mother yesterday, with a minimum of fussing. There was music instead of a sermon, but only little snippets of traditional songs mixed in with stuff I didn't recognize. MOAR CAROLS, dudes.
I will be so sad when I have to put my Christmas icons away. And now it is back to Christmas knitting.
ETA: I am deeply amused that a parent has addressed an application email "Dear [My last name]," as if I were an English butler. It's funnier if you know that my last name is commonly used for fictional (and actual, one would surmise) English butlers.

As for the addressing on e-mails, I still laugh when I get them at work, too. Makes me feel old.
