the_dala at 10:25pm on 24/12/200810:25 on Christmas Eve, we're back from Aunt Carolyn's, and it's time for Viewing #1 of TBS' annual "A Christmas Story" marathon. Not only one of the greatest Christmas movies of all time, but by far one of the best movies about being a kid. And when's a better time for being a kid than Christmas Eve?
I also bought the new edition of David Sedaris' holiday stories collection a few weeks ago, and have been rationing it by night. I saved Six to Eight Black Men just for tonight, of course.
Lastly, I'd like to share one of my favorite TDS segments - which also happens to be holiday-themed - in honor of the families who will be celebrating Christmas in the White House one year from now:
