Y'all, the Terra Cotta Warriors are coming to DC! To the National Geographic Museum, of all places (I guess it's not really surprising when you think about it, but it made me go "Huh?" for a sec).
::bounces:: I missed them when they were at the British Museum and I still regret that (the day we meant to go, tickets were sold out). I'm sure this exhibit won't hold a candle to that one, which had 800,000 visitors (a record for a single exhibit there, we were told), but am really excited nonetheless. The fifteen warriors and their entourage are visiting three other cities first, though the Post didn't say which. They'll be here in November and I'll be ready for them!
Uh, and Happy New Year. I'll post more later today, I just wanted to squee over this for a minute.
::whines at National Geographic Museum site:: I wanna get my tickets NOW! $12 is nothing, I paid twice that to see "Bodies" and it was worth every penny.
