As far as film goes, nothing gets my adrenaline going quite like "Center Stage." Great movie? Doubtful. AWESOME movie full of AWESOME DANCING and ridonkulous acting? It is unbeatable.

I mean, seriously, how do you top a motorcycle ballet and "I'm the best goddamned dancer at the American Ballet Academy - who the hell are you?" You can't do it. It cannot be done.

So I saw Center Stage when I was a senior in high school with one of my good friends, a ballerina, and we squealed through the WHOLE THING. And I still do, every time it's on TV. Apparently, a sequel came out on cable, that I KEEP MISSING every time it re-airs, which makes me so sad.

Maureen RULES. She's always been my favorite one.
