the_dala at 10:09am on 13/05/2009We have to read The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and it's my turn to present a chapter. Which just happens to be the one on "synergy," a word that makes me want to stab myself with a fork.
I'm sorry, I just think this book is abysmally stupid. It's all made-up corporatespeak which could be boiled down to one simple message: Don't be an asshole. The end. I honestly do not understand what people get out of stuff like this.
Sigh. I suppose Cynthia and I will just have to cobble something together (she hates the book too). If I can even manage to get through a page.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Fucking duh.
