the Dalaverse

I did not realize until just this moment that CBS moved "How I Met Your Mother" to 8 while "Gossip Girl" is at 9, therefore making my Monday nights so much easier. Or...wait, what times were they on again last year? Maybe they moved "Gossip Girl" (which I cannot call GG, because that will forever and always belong to Lorelai and Rory Gilmore), I dunno. The point is, I no longer have to choose between them! I usually ended up choosing Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf (and Blake Lively's boobs), because the CBS website is far less tempermental than the CW's. But now I can spread my love without resorting to the Internets, and I am pleased.

Also, once I stopped acting like a total crazy person for various reasons this weekend, my space_married fic unstuck itself. Now it just needs to all be strung together and have the blank spots filled in. I'm actually kind of pleased with it. A teaser:

That I kind of let the news slip to Spock and then Uhura found out during their freaky mind-reading sex and so of course she told Chapel who told Sulu who mentioned it to Chekov as they were getting down and dirty in the botany lab while Riley was hiding under a fichus accidentally eavesdropping and he’s been secretly dating Rand (which explains my missing uniform shirt and The Chair having been autocleaned that one time) who spilled the beans during a yoga session with Gaila in the gym Thursday night, and then it kind of snowballed once it got to Scotty because you know what a gossip he is - uh, something something true?


I love the crew best when they're rumor-mongering.

The Emmys were actually kind of awesome last night, and they're generally my least favorite awards show because the same people/shows win over and over. Well, no, actually the Grammys are my least favorite, to the point that I stopped watching them, because they seem to grow more irrelevant with every passing year. But anyway, NPH is the best and JOHN HODGEMAN did absurd color commentary, and people wore pretty dresses and made Kanye jokes, and I was entertained for a solid three hours and four minutes.
