Okay, so up until now I was highly enjoying "Glee." But tonight's episode made me freaking love it. I guess football really is the way to my heart. And next week looks like it'll be elevating the awesome to new heights, with Kristen Chenowith (I may well be laughing at "I just cracked open a box o' wine" for the next seven days, much as I am STILL cracking up over "Josh Groban loves a blowsy alcoholic") and Mercedes belting my very favorite Queen song.
Some of the minor characters still need more development and I don't see much of a shelf life beyond one, maybe two seasons (especially with how quickly it's moving) - but for right now it fills me with GLEE. There are some really fine young actors on this show; for example I wouldn't have thought the guy playing Finn could pull off the current storyline, but he proved me wrong.
It could use more Jane Lynch. But then, couldn't everything?
And now it's time for "Man vs. Food," the show that has me drooling in the first five minutes but never wanting to eat ever again by the final credit roll.
