Does anyone know how to block an email address on Gmail? My crazy aunt keeps sending me political bullshit and calling me a Communist. I thought I had blocked her, but I think it just blocked Gchat capabaility, not actual email.
In other news, goddammit, I will just admit it: I effing love Lady Gaga. I can't stop listening to "Bad Romance," which is exactly the same thing that happened with "Pokerface" and "Paparazzi." It is the most insanely catchy pop music ever, I swear. Plus I know she is actually a very capable singer beyond the delightful vocal overproduction, and plays the piano, and her crazy is largely intentional, and she's basically like a walking abstract art installation at all times. I find this appealing. I also sincerely believe she is not of this world, but rather a gift from another planet where they don't wear pants ever.
While I'm confessing guilty musical pleasures, I adore Taylor Swift as well. It's going on what, three months now that the radio has been overplaying "You Belong With Me" ad nauseum, and yet I am still not nauseated. Again, I appreciate the fact that she actually writes her own music (though her voice is very thin and reedy; it's fine in the studio, not so much singing live). At the moment I am kind of obsessed with "Crazier," which - okay, it was in the Hannah Montana movie, SO WHAT DON'T JUDGE ME. My brain has decided it is a Kirk/McCoy song of the sweet and romantic variety. No, seriously, look at the lyrics. Especially "Every sky was your own kind of blue." Incidentally, "You Belong With Me" is ALSO a Kirk/McCoy song for me, entirely due to
smilingskull's utterly adorable, utterly perfect high school AU.
::wanders off humming:: When does Glambert's album come out again? I desire it.
