the Dalaverse

I had such a nice weekend. Friday we had a girls' night at Megan's, where we drank three and a half bottles of wine (between THREE people), barhopped, played Never Have I Ever, and finally conked out. Saturday Tina and I went to see "Red," which was terrific - Karl is great (and had a much bigger part than I'd thought), Helen Mirren is badass, John Malkovich is hilarious, Mary Louise Parker is delightful, and Bruce Willis is still hot as hell. Then we met Cliff and Craig at this ancient little dive bar with an extensive beer selection. And today we did a brief mall trip before hitting the Greene Turtle for football - the Steelers won for Tina and Ryan Buddy, the Giants won for Cliff, the Patriots won for everyone who rightfully hates Baltimore, and Dallas is losing yay! (Skins have the night game).

But I should probably have been home asleep for at least 50% of all that, because now I have a sinus headache and my left ear will not stop ringing and my brain seems to be dripping down my throat. Ugh. There may be vomitation at some point in the future.

I am going to take another nap so I don't fall asleep during the game.

ETA: Feel marginally better after some chicken noodle soup and string cheese. Why yes Faith Hill, I really have been waiting all day for Sunday night. God I love football. What do I even do when it's not football?

ETA2: Sigh. Well, it was a good fight. Indianapolis might be having an on-off season, but tonight they were definitely on AND they have Peyton fucking Manning, so overall I feel pretty good about 27-24 in the last thirty seconds. I honestly don't know if the Skins had enough left to pull off another overtime win. But they're getting there. ALSO DALLAS IS 1 AND 4 BOOYA.
