the_dala at 06:20pm on 08/12/2010My aunt sent me a Christmas wreath! A real one! It has pine cones and red velvet ribbon and cherries and its own hanging hook! It smells so good and it looks so pretty!
Unexpected gift is unexpected. And perfectly timed - I happened to hear "The Christmas Song" on the radio this morning and it's like it suddenly hit me that it really is Christmastime. Y'all, I love Christmas. And winter. I don't think it got above 30 degrees today and it was AWESOME.
Now I'm going to drink hot cider with maybe just a drop of rum, and eat tomato soup. And work on my![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
space_wrapped fic. And knit scarves for Vending Machine Spock and Winston Churchill (he is a stuffed bulldog from IKEA) - might as well use up this half-ball of green wool from Southampton for something festive. Oh, and change the dolls into their Christmas dresses!
