1. "A Christmas Story" will never not be hilarious and wonderful and perfect. It just doesn't feel right to watch it all the way through rather than in scattered scenes over the course of twenty-four hours. If anyone tries to change the channel at any point, they risk losing a hand.
2. I still have mad gift-wrapping skillz from the year my Girl Scout troop did stints at Borders. It proved to be a highly useful life experience.
3. I got to hold my cousin's baby nearly all night long, and feed her, and make her laugh, and watch her chew on her hands, and feel her grow heavier as she fell asleep. She is the sweetest baby ever. Why can't I have one of those for Christmas?
...Okay, clearly it is time for bed.
