The CoolerMaster universal laptop adapter arrived precisely when it meant to this afternoon. I uttered a sound that can only be heard by dogs, Superman, and sparkly vampires; I sliced into the box with a rusty pair of scissors whilst miraculously not cutting myself; I exclaimed over the length of the cord and the neat little tray for lining up the different tips like swivel guns (in proper color order of course). Finally I plugged the damn thing in and here we are.
The Sony tip doesn't seem like it'll come detached from the laptop or the cord with the barest hint of motion, which is good. I will be checking the adapter itself to make sure it doesn't get too het up. It might be a mite heavier than the old one, but that's more than compensated for by the longer cord. I rather like its little blue indicator light. All in all, it seems like a good purchase for the price.
INTERNETS I MISSED YOOOOOUUUU. It was especially hard on Saturday morning, when I'd just finished Mockingjay and my brain would not work for several hours. This always happens with stories that mean something; I have to let them...settle. Become part of me, as ridiculous as that sounds. I can't possibly read anything, write anything, or process anything on film, and it's generally a bad idea to try to operate a vehicle (Orson Scott Card almost got me and my bike flattened in middle school). I could've used a few dozen mindless games of Spider Solitaire, is what I'm saying.
Anyway. It's time for some major catching up.

Thanks, bb!

And oh, do I ever know what you mean about having to let a story settle in! The same thing happens to me; it's like all my brain's processing power is taken up with the new acquisition for a bit and everything else hangs up.
