Well, it looks like we may have a temporary deal coming together to keep the government, the national park system, and the entire city of DC from shutting down. And we might even be able to do it with Planned Parenthood funding intact. Nothing concrete on the spending cuts yet, just something in between the two proposed amounts. Also, what about the EPA clean air thing?

I'm so tired I actually fell asleep at the kitchen table eating lunch. I put my head down for thirty seconds and I was out cold for twenty minutes. And I mean cold - "Animal Cops" was on, and there was a cat meowing, and I suddenly woke up all at once convinced that a cat had gotten into the house somehow. I might even have had half a second believing it was Snake.

And yet I feel like I can't go to bed yet, because I need to keep sending the stink-eye down the Pike in the general direction of Capitol Hill. PULL IT TOGETHER, MOTHERFUCKERS.

I have to spend time with my crazy Tea Party aunts tomorrow. I don't know if I can handle it, y'all.
