Oh lord, I just got all weepy over the JK Rowling movie on Lifetime. It's not even very good, although I liked Poppy Montgomery's performance. And Mr. Weasley's Ford Anglia. But it was riddled (hee) with cliches and the Edinburgh scenes were definitely sanitized, weird since it's Lifetime and they love their melodrama.

But anyway. It's just not something I think about on a wide scale very much, but there is is: these books mean so much to so many people. Despite the flaws. I'm rereading Philospher's Stone again and it's still magical after all this time, and JK Rowling is amazing. That's all.

When I was a student, I had to get up very early to get to my university. And I always read something from the Potter books while eating breakfast. It's hard for me to even read first four books now, because I know large chunks of them by heart (I literally know what sentence comes after the one I've just read).
